REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR ALL SUMMER ACTIVITIES

  • SUMMER CAMP BEGINS JUNE 13TH AND CONTINUES UNTIL GRADY COUNTY SCHOOLS RESIDE. ACTIVITIES AS FOLLOWS: SWIMMING MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY MORNINGS, WEEKLY LIBRARY VISITS, SKATING, AND MOVIES AT THE ZEBULON. CAMP IS MONDAY – FIRDAY 7:30AM-6PM AND IS $120/WEEK OR $30 PER DAY.  ONE ACTIVITY FEE AT REGISTRATION OF $75
  • ALLSTAR CHEER EVALUATIONS FOR THE 2022-2023 SEASON WILL BE HELD FOR AGES 3 AND UP JUNE 6TH – 9TH 9AM -12PM. TRYOUTS WILL BE $75 FOR RETURNING ATHLETES AND $100 FOR NEW ATHLETES. PRACTICES WILL BEGIN IN JULY.   ATHLETES THAT ARE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND OLDER WILL NEED TWO REFERENCES OTHER THAN FAMILY MEMBERS AND ALSO A WRITTEN STATEMENT OF WHY THEY WOULD LIKE TO BE A PART OF THE SOUTHERN STORM TEAM. 

 

  • MINI MAKERS CHEER CAMP AGES 3 AND UP JUNE 20TH -24TH 8AM-4PM COME JOIN US FOR A WEEK OF LEARNING BASIC TO ADVANCED CHEER SKILLS: STUNTING, TUMBLING, CHANTS, CHEERS, AND JUMPS.  CHEER CAMPERS WILL ALSO SWIM ON MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY MORNINGS.  PLEASE BRING LUNCH AND WE WILL PROVIDE TWO SNACKS.  FRIDAY THE 24TH AT 3PM WE WILL SHOWCASE OUR SKILLS LEARNED DURING OUR WEEK AT CAMP.  REGISTER BY JUNE 1ST  $165 FOR THE WEEK

BEGINNER TUMBLING: MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY 4-5PM $75/MO

INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING: MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY 5-6PM $80/MO

ADVANCED TUMBLING: MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY 5-6:30 PM $90/MO

REGISTRATION FOR AFTERSCHOOL, MINI MAKER RECREATIONAL CHEER, AND ALL TUMBLING CLASSES WILL BE HELD JULY 27TH-JULY 30TH FROM 4-6PM.

REGISTRATION WILL BE HELD OUTSIDE OF THE GYM DUE TO COVID 19.

ALL EVENING CHEER AND TUMBLING CLASSES BEGIN AUGUST 3RD

 

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

AFTERSCHOOL REGISTRATION IS $50. THE AFTERSCHOOL BUS PICKS UP AT CAIRO FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, SOUTHSIDE ELEMENTARY, WASHINGTON MIDDLE SCHOOL (USING A CONNECTING BUS FROM WMS TO SOUTHSIDE), AND WHIGHAM SCHOOL. DROP OFFS ARE WELCOME.  THE PROGRAM IS FROM 3PM-6PM MONDAY – FRIDAY.  AFTERSCHOOL PICK UP BEGINS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. WE PROVIDE SNACKS, HELP WITH HOMEWORK, AND PLAY. THIS PROGRAM IS $55 PER WEEK.  AT THIS TIME CHILDREN WILL NEED TO WEAR MASKS ON THE BUS. 

 

TUMBLING PROGRAM

TUMBLING REGISTRATION IS $35.  WE OFFER TUMBLING CLASSES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS OF ALL AGES.

  • TINY TOTS FREE PLAY: CRAWLERS-AGE 3 $50/MONTH MONDAY, WEDNESDAY 4PM-5PM
  • BEGINNER TUMBLING: AGES 4-6 $65/MONTH MONDAY, WEDNESDAY 4PM-5PM
  • INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING: AGES 7-9 $75/MONTH TUESDAY, THURSDAY 4PM-5PM

Summer Camp 2020

2020 Cairo Acrobatics Summer Camp

Opens Monday June 1st

This is an active summer program with water days, gymnastics, arts/crafts, bounce house bouncing, and many more wonderful activities to keep your kids safe, happy and healthy throughout their summer break.

Tuesdays and Thursdays campers will have Gymnastics and Boys’ Speed and Agility Class (included in camp fee).  The kids will do an hour gymnastics class or speed and agility class that fits their age and experience level.  Please come dressed to have an active and fun day every day.

Hours of operation are 7:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday-Friday.  Must be potty trained to attend. Two snacks a day are provided. We will be eating lunch for free provided by the Grady County School Nutrition Program in June. Please bring your own lunch the month of July.  

The cost is $125 per week or $35 per day.  All activities are included in your $75 registration fee.  Registration begins May 12th.  Limited spots available. 

Summer camp begins June 1st and will continue until Grady County Schools begin.  We will be closed July 3rd and July 6th

2020 Cairo Acrobatics Summer Camp

Registration is March 16th – 19th  4:00pm-6:00pm

Competition Cheer Tryouts and Registration for the 2019-2020 Season:

Competing as a Southern Storm AllStar Cheerleader is challenging, athletic, and exciting for ages 3 – 18. If you want to become a competitive cheerleader, please contact Kacey Oliver 2292247039.

TINY TOTS (crawlers to 3 years old) TUESDAY, THURSDAY 4-4:45pm $65 for two classes per week for entire summer session or $40 for one class per week for entire summer session.
BEGINNERS (ages 4-6) Tuesday, Thursday 4:45pm – 5:45pm $90 for entire summer session or $75 for one class per week for entire summer session.
INTERMEDIATE (ages 7-9) Tuesday, Thursday 5pm-6pm $100 for entire summer session or $85 for one class per week for entire summer session.
ADVANCED AND CHEER TUMBLE (all ages MUST HAVE BACK HAND SPRING) Wednesday 4pm-6pm $120 for entire summer session

2019 Summer Camp

Summer Camp
This is an active summer program with swimming, gymnastics, arts/crafts, skating, pottery, basketball, fishing and many more physical activities to keep your kids safe, happy, and healthy throughout their summer break.  The program is from 7:30 a.m. -6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.  We provide two snacks a day.  Campers can eat free lunch through Grady County Schools June 3rd – July 19th. We will bus kids to CHS daily to eat. After July 19th you will need to bring a lunch. The cost per week is $100 and the cost per day is $25.  All activities are included within the tuition cost.  YOU ONLY PAY FOR THE DAYS/WEEKS ATTENDING.
REGISTRATION for the summer program is $50 and will be held May 6th -10th from 4-6 pm.  All students full time and part time must register.  Camp begins June 3rd and ends July 31st.

Register for Tumbling and our After School Program for the 2018-2019 Season

$25 registration fee

 

After School Program:  Monday through Friday 3-5:30pm.  Bus pick up available for Southside Elementary and Whigham School.  Drop offs are welcome.  We provide a snack, do homework, and play while parents are busy working.  The cost is $50 per week.  After School begins on the 1st day of school and follows the Grady County School Schedule.  We do not pick up or have after school on half days.

 

Tumbling Classes:

Boys’ Speed, Agility and Tumble:  ages 5 and up  Wednesday 4-5pm  $50 per month

Mommy and Me:  crawlers up to age 3  Wednesday 4:15-5pm $40 per month

Beginner Tumble:  ages 4-6 Monday and Wednesday 4-5pm $75 per month for two classes a week or $50 per month for one class a week.

Intermediate Tumble:  ages 7-9 Monday and Wednesday 5-6pm  $80 per month for two classes a week or $55 per month for one class a week.

Advanced Tumble: must have back hand spring to attend Monday and Wednesday 5-6pm  $85 per month for two classes a week or $60 per month for one class a week.
